Amenities
Our Inn is a Victorian mansion built in 1895. The Hines is a special part of Provo's Historic Downtown and is on Utah's Registry of Historic Homes.
Our Parlor. The parlor is perhaps our most authentic Victorian room restoration. You may pass time peaceful in front of our imported Italian marble fireplace, read, or play a variety of games in this elegant gathering room. Our parlor, and if appropriate, our kitchen, is available for small weddings, social gatherings and business meetings.
Our Rooms. All of our nine rooms offer:
- A welcoming bottle of Kristan-Regale pear cider.
- A complete hot breakfast each morning.
- Private bath with two-person jetted tub.
- Comfortable robes for your use during your stay.
- Cable TV, VCR, and use of our complementary video library.
- Freshly-baked cookies, cakes, fruit or other treats set out in the kitchen.
- Real peace and quiet. We do not have phones in our rooms; but if you must, you may bring your cell phones and laptops. We provide high speed wireless service for your computers.
Enhance your stay by selecting from our list of additional items.
We combine courteous and hospitable service with quiet privacy to provide our guests a memorable get-away, honeymoon, anniversary, adult family retreat, or vacation. The Inn also provides special ambiance for small weddings and summer lawn receptions.
Business travelers, too, find that the Hines Mansion Bed and Breakfast has a comfortable, home-like atmosphere, yet provides today's mandatory high-speed wireless internet connection. Consider us for small corporate off-sites and meetings, and for executive housing. From the inn, guests have easy access to the Provo/Orem area, Brigham Young University, Utah Valley State College, NuSkin, Novell and other prominent Utah businesses. Sundance, Park City, and Salt Lake City are also close by.
Our bed and breakfast is within walking distance to several downtown restaurants, parks, theaters, the historic Provo Tabernacle of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the scenic 14-mile paved Provo River Parkway bike and walking trail, and the Provo River (a Utah Blue Ribbon trout fishery).
